    The late great Franz Jackson played until he was 95. He was native to Chicago and learned to play jazz from its originators. He’s played with the other greatest jazz artists. His music is infectious and fun. His brilliance can be heard on “The Last Wild River in California,” part 1, when you hear a snippet of Strut’in with some BBQ” from the “I is what I is” Pinnacle recording.
