  Clay George has a voice you recognize but can't place, singing about a place you recognize but can't face. A voice from a forgotten time that resonates through your psyche like an apparition. One that appears in the night air, emerging from the woods along side some lonesome road, vanishing with the headlights of an on-coming automobile. His songs invoke a stirring, unshakable sensation, they are something inarticulate yet hauntingly eloquent. Clay George writes about the ironies of being too sharp an observer in a world where people only see what they want to see. He resides where the ghosts of the material world clash with those of the spiritual world. HIs voice transmits from this plane, like the voice that played on the radio in that car that drove that lonely night, so long ago. A voice that has swept across the airwaves in search of the lonely voyager, to ride along side you and see you through the night ,never to be heard from again.
